Assegnati i World Digital Preservation Awards 2020

Il 5 novembre scorso, in occasione della Giornata Mondiale della Conservazione 2020, come da tradizione sono stati annunciati i Digital Preservation Awards, premi assegnati ogni anno per valorizzare il contributo e il lavoro di associazioni, istituzioni, imprese e individui in materia di conservazione e archiviazione digitale.

I vincitori delle varie categorie di concorso sono i seguenti:

1. International Council on Archives Award for Collaboration and Cooperation: NDSA Levels of Digital Preservation Revision Project
2. Software Sustainability Institute (SSI) Award for Research and Innovation: Levels of Born Digital Access
3. Dutch Digital Heritage Network Award for Teaching and Communications: Digital Records Curation Programme
4. National Records of Scotland (NRS) Award for the Most Distinguished Student Work in Digital Preservation: Lotte Wijsman with ‘The Significant Properties of Spreadsheets: Stakeholder Analysis’
5. DPC Award for the Most Outstanding Digital Preservation Initiative in Commerce, Industry and the Third Sector: UNHCR Records and Archives
6. The National Archives (UK) Award for Safeguarding the Digital Legacy: UK Web Archive: celebrating 15 years
7. The DPC Fellowship Award: Micky Lindlar.
